Wedding Day At Camp Kartur, Bedale
I love photographing a new wedding venue and Camp Katur was exactly that, where? If you are like me and don't know where it's in the beautiful North Yorkshire, Bedale to be exact.
So, I just had the most amazing time at this super fun outdoor wedding in North Yorkshire, Bedale. Katie & Jame's had planned an outdoor wedding and the weather wasn't playing ball, the forecast showing rain and possibly thunder, but am I glad when the weather works out, just! The ceremony was 50-50 if it was indoor or outdoor and they had to make the final decision 1 hour before, and it was looking positive and I am so pleased to say they made the perfect call, OUTDOOR! It was a lovely spot in the woods surrounded by tall trees and well, nature.
Let me tell you, it was truly a photographer's dream! The ceremony took place in the most enchanting woods. I was able to capture some truly stunning shots of the couple exchanging vows surrounded by nature's beauty.
Being able to document such special moments and turn them into everlasting memories is truly what I live for as a photographer. This wedding in North Yorkshire was definitely one for the books, and I feel so grateful to have been a part of it. Can't wait for the next adventure behind the lens!
But let me tell you, the real party started when the sun went down and the dance floor opened up - everyone was dancing, laughing, and just having the best time ever. I was like a kid in a candy store, snapping away and capturing all the joy and love in the air.

The bride and groom get ready in beautifully appointed yurts, adding a touch of bohemian elegance to the proceedings. Guests mingle and enjoy light refreshments at the outdoor bar, adorned with fairy lights and wildflowers, creating a whimsical atmosphere.

The sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the breeze adds to the serene ambience. Add a live band that plays acoustic tunes, encouraging guests to kick off their shoes and dance on the grass under the stars.
As the evening progresses, a bonfire is lit, and everyone gathers around for toasted marshmallows and storytelling. The sky is clear, and the stars are bright, making it a magical night to remember. A photo booth with quirky props adds to the fun, ensuring there are plenty of laughs and memorable snapshots.
